About Aurora

Aurora is a pristine city of about 50,000, and is only 40 minutes north of Toronto with direct access to highway 404 and close proximity to highway 400.

Aurora offers a beautiful setting to many executive and upscale homes and developments, and caters to its community with exquisite dining, performing arts and renowned fine art fairs. It also offers a wealth of groomed fairways and fields for golfing, baseball, soccer, and rambling park get-togethers.  Aurora also has 18 kilometers of a Pedestrian Trail system that connects many neighbourhood parks and facilities.

Aurora has quaint “small town” shopping along Yonge St., all easily accessible with VIVA, a  rapid transit service linking Aurora to surrounding communities. The town also offers GO transit for those venturing into Toronto and surrounding communities. It caters to students of all ages as well, with a complete complement of educational opportunities in day care, nursery, elementary and secondary education facilities. It also boasts the well-known private school, St. Andrews College.
